I bet most of you are familiar with this brand named Comme des Garçons. You can definitely recognize it by their signature heart with eyes logo. It is certainly eye-catching, and the great popularity among K-pop idols make it undoubtedly famous.

Comme des Garçons, despite having a French name, was actually a Japanese fashion label headed by Rei Kawakubo and her husband, Adrian Joffe. The label was started in Tokyo in 1969 and established as a company in Japan in 1973.

Comme des Garçons is not only famous in Japan but all over the world after a successful debut in Paris in 1981. At the present time this label often participate in showcasing their latest clothing collection at "Paris Fashion Week" and also in "Paris Men's Fashion Week".

Comme des Garçons have some their own boutique in London, Paris, New York, Beijing, Hong Kong, Seoul, St. Petersburg, Tokyo, Kyoto, Fukuoka and Osaka. Besides, various of fashion stuff from these labels can be found in some selected department stores like Isetan. In Paris alone, perfume products from this label can be found in "23 Place Marché St-Honoré."

In addition to opening a boutique or a store, Comme des Garçons has a unique idea to open a store that they called the "Guerilla Stores" it named guerilla because the already set up store would be open for only one year in each location. For these guerilla stores, Comme des Garçons have set up shop in places such as Singapore, Beirut, Helsinki, Athens, Stockhilm, Los Angeles, and even in Glasgow.

For several years Comme des Garçons has been cooperating with many famous labels such as Fred Perry, Levi's, Converse All Star, Speedo, Nike, Moncler, Lacoste, Cutler and Gross, Chrome Hearts, Hammerthor, S. N. S. Herning, Louis Vuitton, Supreme, and others. Not only that Comme des Garçons has also collaborated with "H&M" and was released in 2008.
