Lately, I've been noticing a lot of fangirls (myself included) always going on a state of euphoria. Thanks to the existence of plain white V-neck shirts which most male KPOP idols are rocking on recently, we get to see a piece of paradise every glorious time.
Hilarious, right? But it is the reality. Fangirls are really going gaga over this fad. Others may think that this is just plain crazy but I think I've got just enough reasons to justify this visual addiction:

1. Plain white V-neck shirts are refreshing.
I think everybody had experienced this already: Whenever we see someone fully clothed in the midst of summer, we end up being the ones who feel uncomfortable. It's like the heat which that wrong-timing fashionista is supposed to feel is shifted to us even without us realizing it. That's why V-neck shirts are refreshing. It makes us breathe because others can. And no, don't start me with the idea of respective tastes and shizz. If you don't agree with this point, skip.
2. White V-neck shirts are a breather.
KPOP idols tend to be very flamboyant with their attires. In music videos, performances or even just guestings, they tend to be always 100% prepped up. Sometimes, it gets tiring to the eyes of the fangirls who constantly look at them. That's why seeing them in simple pieces of clothing as white V-neck shirts serves as a great breather. It also promotes simplicity; and as we all know, simplicity relaxes the mind.

It cannot be denied that one factor why fangirls stay in the fandom is because they love seeing the gorgeousness of their idols. However, it is also undeniable that the attention is often divided between the beauty of the face and the beauty of the attire. Now, since white V-neck shirts don't have anything in it, it allows the fangirls to focus on how their idols look like. Although sometimes, they tend to just focus the men's body built.
4. White V-neck shirts flaunt the sexy.
Now this sounds creepy and perverse but I'm stating the truth. Although a white V-neck shirt tend to be loose, it has the ability to flaunt the amazing body built of an individual. Its cut shifts the onlookers' attention to the long torso of the idol and the thinness of its material somehow exposes the magnificence of what's underneath the fabric. The V-neckline puts more emphasis on the toned chest and the sleeves wraps or provides nice impression of the arms.

5. White V-neck shirts determine who the hot one is.
To me, a white V-neck shirt is a gauge that determines who's hot and who's not. I think everybody knows that not all people are graced with the ability to look good in such plain clothing; that's why I see white V-neck as an elite type of attire. It's like this: if you want to know if an idol is really hot, make him wear one.
6. White V-neck shirts will never run out of style.
In the world of fashion, simplicity is always in. And I think, white V-neck shirts are the immortal embodiment of this virtue. That is why its charm will never fade. Even after several years from now, the beauty of this piece of clothing will be conveyed and passed over onto succeeding generations. Because as I've said, simplicity is always, and will forever be, in.
At the moment, I am working hard on my research as to who invented plain white V-neck shirts. Once I discovered who it is, I am planning of starting a petition to turn him into a universal hero.
But while I haven't found it out yet, I think I'll just give credits to the U.S. Navy who thought that cutting the union suit into two would make them feel comfortable; and to Marlon Brando and James Dean who were probably the first Hollywood actors who paved way to the introduction of T-Shirts in the society.
I know what you're thinking. Wifebeaters? Those sinful pieces of clothing pretty much have the same effect as plain white V-necks. So I think it's safe to say that it has the same justifications. Really.
So, what do you think? Share us your thoughts about seeing all the almighty idols in this normal, yet very special, piece of clothing!
